Take your bookbinding skills to the next level with a private lesson at Kent Bindery studio! This is a private lesson for one student.
Private lessons are offered on the following binding and box making styles:
Sewn & Glued Pamphlet Binding (2 hours, make two books)
Hardcover Stab Binding (2 hours, make two books)
Double Coptic Hardcover Binding (2-3 hours, make one to two books)
French Link & Tape Binding (3 hours, make one book)
Case Binding (3 hours, make one book)
Slip Case Design (2 hours, make two slipcases)
Butterfly Box Design (3 hours, make one box)
Each lesson is two to three hours long (dependent on project). All materials provided. Written instructions with a materials list will be provided after class via email. Students are welcome to bring in their own materials and tools as well. Notetaking and photos encouraged during the lesson!
